It's not often I get to a painting as quickly as this one, mentioned so recently on this blog! The little gelding, whom I called Pip, left on Tuesday. He's already going great, I was happy to hear. The change of scenery did him good, though I'm sure the little "operation" didn't hurt, either!
I'm hoping to have this painting done for a show next month. Today was just the second session working on it, so it's progressing well. It's a 10 x 12 oil on canvas. This one already has a title: "Hopeful." It has a double meaning...if you didn't already figure that out!
