Happy New Year! And Say Happy Birthday to...

I get more of a kick out of today being the universal birthday of Thoroughbreds in this part of the world than I do the whole New Year's thing, I have to admit. The boys are now officially yearlings, Gracie is a two-year-old (and getting more than a little big for her britches!) and Peaker is three! The Oaks is in less than six months, Peaker! You'd better get on that if you want to make it!


It was a pretty, snowy day today. Not a great one for the autofocus on the camera, but still fun to take photos. Everyone seemed to enjoy the fresh snow. That much again would probably keep me happy, to keep the icy spots and ruts well-covered.
