Thank You

I've been negligent in responding to the comments after the last two posts, so I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who commented or sent emails in response to the news about Gladys. Last week I learned that another member of the farm 'family' here had to be put down - if you've been around here long enough, you'd remember Jesse, who helped run the place for quite some time! She was companion to Sass, Monster's mom when I first brought Sass home. When Monster was born she was the babysitter for my bratty foal. Jesse also helped raise Peaker, and babysat Gladys. I've missed Jesse since she left the farm a couple of years ago, so this was definitely sad news.

This weekend is the Milton Studio Tour, so I've been pretty busy getting ready, probably a good thing. The studio is more of a disaster than usual as I package notecards and prints, and I've been back and forth to the framer a few times. Hopefully we'll get perfect weather on the weekend - nice but not too nice, if that makes sense - and have a good turnout! If you're interested, let me know and I'll tell you where to get a brochure which has a listing of all the artists, as well as a map of the route. Hope you can make it!
