Houston says, no problem...

Another non-Thoroughbred today. This is Houston, who was rescued from a pretty horrible fate, and is now owned by a friend of mine. This is 5 x 7 oil on masonite, with the limited palette again. I have to admit there are days, dealing with these sometimes goofy Thoroughbreds that I'd like to just hang out with a laid-back guy like Houston here!

He looks peaceful! I hope I find one like him, only not quite so big. :) Nice job of capturing him!

Thanks Donna. I'm sure there's one out there just waiting to meet you! And I know he/she will be a very lucky horse!!

Thanks Elizabeth. I laugh to think of throwing one of these big guys out with, say, the yearling colt Billy! Would sure make all my horses look small! :-)
